The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2025 in Kendall County , while total sales decreased by 13.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2025, 717 homes were sold in the county, with sale prices averaging $345,000. This is a 6.1% increase over the $325,250 median sale price during the same period in 2024, when there were 832 homes sold.

Based on the latest available data from 2023, the median property tax in Kendall County was $7,632, which stands at 2.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2025.

U.S. home prices continued to rise in 2025, with the national median reaching about $447,000 in June. That’s up 1.13% from a year earlier, according to Redfin.
