On Friday, March 21, former Yorkville High School standout Jason Jakstys’ current collegiate team the Illinois Fighting Illini won 86-73 against the Xavier Musketeers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Fiserv Forum, this was the first game against the Xavier Musketeers during the championship.
The Illinois Fighting Illini’s next game will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 4:15 p.m. in Fiserv Forum against Kentucky Wildcats.
