State Representative Jed Davis (R-Yorkville) will collaborate with State Senator Sue Rezin (R-Morris), the Fox Valley Family YMCA, and the Plano Area Alliance Supporting Student Success (P.A.A.S.S.S) to host a free Kids Fair. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 7th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fox Valley Family YMCA in Plano.
“This event is a great way to kick off summer,” said Rep. Davis. “We’re putting together a fun morning for families – something for the kids to enjoy and plenty of local resources for parents to check out.”
The fair will feature an indoor resource expo and an outdoor “Touch a Truck” area where children can explore vehicles such as fire trucks and police cars. Additional activities include live performances, face painting, and an animal show. Numerous local organizations will participate, offering information on healthcare, safety, education, and youth programs.
