On Tuesday, April 1, former Yorkville High School standout Lorenzo Rios’ current college team, the Rice Owls, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Sam Houston Bearkats.

The game took place at Don Sanders Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bearkats this season.

The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Reckling Park against UTRGV Vaqueros.
