On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Newark Community High School standout Ryan Williams’ current college team, the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Montevallo Falcons.
The game took place at Sand Mountain Park. This was their first matchup against the Falcons this season.
The Railsplitters’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at Dorothy Neely Softball Complex against Davis & Elkins Senators.
