On Friday, April 18, former Yorkville High School standout Simon Skroch’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

The game took place at Bainton Field. This was their first matchup against the Scarlet Knights this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 3 p.m. at Bainton Field against Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
