On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Newark Community High School standout Joseph Martin’s current college team, the SIUE Cougars, lost 14-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Dallas Baptist Patriots.
The game took place at Horner Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Patriots this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. at Horner Ballpark against Dallas Baptist Patriots.
