On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Oswego East High School standout Megan Leonard’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Detroit Mercy Titans.
The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Titans this season.
The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex against Green Bay Phoenix.
