On Tuesday, April 8, former Yorkville High School standout Simon Skroch’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits.
The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their first matchup against the Jackrabbits this season.
The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 6 p.m. at Siebert Field against St. Thomas Tommies.
