City of Yorkville issued the following announcement on May 13.
The Yorkville Police Department is pleased to announce the recent graduation of Detective Sergeant Patrick McMahon from Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command. Sgt. McMahon has successfully completed the ten week leadership training program held at the Plainfield Police Department. The program covered instruction in Leadership, Human Resources, Planning and Policy Development, Budgeting and Resource Allocation just to name a few. The Yorkville Police Department is dedicated to training its employees to best serve our community.
