McHenry County Sheriff Bill Prim endorses Judge John Noverini

Carpentersville, IL – McHenry County Sheriff says Judge John Noverini has earned his vote and support in the Republican Primary for the Illinois Supreme Court District 2 race. 

“In these tumultuous times, it is more important now than ever to have a principled conservative on the Illinois Supreme Court,” Prim said. “We need someone who is an experienced jurist with an unwavering moral compass.”

Prim has served as McHenry County Sheriff since 2014 and has worked in law enforcement for more than 30 years. He said he has the utmost respect for Judge Noverini who consistently displays a high level of professionalism, strong moral character, independence, and a deep understanding of the law.

“Whether it was building and managing a successful business, practicing law in the private sector, or adjudicating cases in the circuit court, Judge John Noverini has done it all,” Prim said. “Please join me in voting for Judge John A. Noverini for Illinois Supreme Court on June 28, 2022.”

Judge Noverini and his wife, Saray Rodriguez Noverini, are long-time residents of Kane County. Judge Noverini was first elected to the bench in 2008 and during his judicial tenure has served in both criminal and civil courtrooms. His judicial experience includes having served as the Presiding Judge of the Family Law Division, Presiding Judge of the Criminal Law Division, and Presiding Judge of Probate, Guardianship, Traffic and Mental Health Courts. 

A life-long Illinoisan, Noverini is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute. He earned his Master of Arts in History from Northeastern Illinois University and a Juris Doctor from IIT/Chicago Kent College of Law.
