Sunday, March 2: Newark Community High School standout Ryan Williams’ college team wins to Elizabeth City State Vikings

On Sunday, March 2, former Newark Community High School standout Ryan Williams’ current college team, the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Elizabeth City State Vikings.

The game took place at Dorothy Neely Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Vikings this season.

The Railsplitters’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 1 p.m. at Dorothy Neely Softball Complex against Emory & Henry Wasps.
