On Tuesday, March 4, former Yorkville High School standout Simon Skroch’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 16-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Milwaukee Panthers.
The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at Siebert Field against Purdue Boilermakers.
