Yorkville alum Jason Jakstys set to play with Illinois in NCAA Tournament

Jason Jakstys, a former Yorkville High School star now playing for the Illinois Fighting Illini, is taking part in the NCAA Tournament.

Illinois holds the No. 3 seed and will play the 14th seed, the Penn Quakers, to open the tournament.

Tipoff for the first game is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, at 8:25 p.m. at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
