On Wednesday, March 12, former Yorkville High School standout Simon Skroch’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 29-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kansas Jayhawks.

The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their second matchup against the Jayhawks this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 4:05 p.m. at PK Park against Oregon Ducks.
