ABSENT: None.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

a. Approval of the February 20, 2020 Plan Commission and February 24, 2020 Special Plan Commission minutes.

Motion to Approve the February 20, 2020 Plan Commission and February 24, 2020 Special Plan Commission minutes was made by Jim Capparelli.

Motion seconded by Marc Rousonelos. 

Motion carried by the following vote: 

AYES: Jim Capparelli, Jason Cox, Jeff Crompton, John Dillon, Brigette Fiday, John Kella, Mark Micetich, Rick Moore, Marc Rousonelos. 

NAYS: None.

4. CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS NOTE: There is a new temporary procedure for public speaking. Details can be found on the Joliet.gov "Meeting Agendas, Minutes, & Videos" web page. In-person public speaking is temporarily suspended.

This item was withdrawn, therefore no action is necessary.

Mr. Mike Hansen, Attorney, appeared on behalf of the petition.

Commissioner Moore inquired if the area is sufficient for a gas station. Mr. Hansen responded.

No one appeared in opposition to the petition.

Mr. Jackson gave the Planning staff report.

Mr. Joseph Hammer, Ruettiger, Tonelli & Associates, appeared on behalf of the petition.

Chairman Dillon and Commissioner Moore had a few questions. Mr. Hammer responded.

No one appeared in opposition to the petition.

Motion to recommend for approval the Re-Approval of the Preliminary Plat of Joliet Logistics Park Subdivision and the Final Plat of Joliet Logistics Park Subdivision Phase 2 was made by Jim Capparelli.

Motion seconded by John Kella. 

Motion carried by the following vote:

Mr. Jackson stated the petitions are being tabled to the May 21, 2020 Plan Commission meeting.

Mr. Jackson gave the Planning staff report.

Mr. Christopher Enright appeared on behalf of the petition.

Mr. Enright added as part of the Zoning Board of Appeals meeting that approved their petition they agreed to install some landscaping which will reduce the number of parking spaces but it will still be in compliance with the parking requirements.

Commissioner Moore inquired about the hours of operation as well as overnight parking. Mr. Enright responded.

No one appeared in opposition to the petition.

Motion to recommend for approval the Preliminary Plat of Belle Tire Joliet Resubdivision was made by Jim Capparelli.

Mr. Craig Herr, Senior Pastor for First Presbyterian Church, appeared on behalf of the petition.

Chairman Dillon inquired about parking. Mr. Herr responded.

Ms. Nicole Sciotis phoned in for the NorthPoint meeting, therefore she will call back for the City Council meeting regarding NorthPoint.

Mr. Juan Cuellar had comments regarding the NorthPoint project and that he is in favor of it.
