Kendall County Board of Review met April 24.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The Board of Review meeting was called to order on April 24, 2018 at 10:00 am. Members present at the meeting were Pam Gegenheimer, Gary Popp, and David Zielke. Andy Nicoletti, Clerk.

Motion to reorganize by Gary Popp and seconded by David Zielke, motion carried. Clerk called for nominations for Chairman. Gary Popp nominated Pam Gegenheimer, David Zielke seconded the motion. No other nominations were made. The Clerk was instructed to cast a unanimous ballot to make Pam Gegenheimer chairman.

Motion to approve the agenda by Gary Popp and seconded by David Zielke, motion carried.

No public comments.

Motion to approve the minutes from April 10, 2018 by Gary Popp and seconded by David Zielke, motion carried.

Signed Certificates of Error.

Reviewed postage meter report. Mailed 2 pieces of mail at a cost of $4.73.

Received applications for total exempt status from Oswegoland Park District, Boy Scouts of America, Illinois Department of Transportation and the Kendall County Forest Preserve District. Motion to forward to the Department of Revenue by Gary Popp and seconded by David Zielke, motion carried.

Discussed Board of Review rules and appeal forms. Add rule with reqard to omitted property. Rework rule 4a with regard to incomplete complaint form. Also, add sales range to be considered to rule 4a.

Next meeting scheduled for May 1, 2018 at 10:00am. Meeting scheduled for May and June will be discussed at that meeting.

Motion to adjourn by Gary Popp and seconded by David Zielke, motion carried.
