Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 11.
Are you providing care and support to a loved one with dementia? Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia can be overwhelming, exhausting and lonely.
An Alzheimer’s/dementia CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP is coming to YORKVILLE!! A support group provides emotional, educational and social support in a safe, confidential and supportive environment. The group is facilitated by an Alzheimer’s Association trained leader and will offer participants time to share concerns, hear ideas, gain encouragement and learn about resources.
Please join us the first THURSDAY each month beginning August 2nd.
Meetings are held from 1-2pm at the Senior Services Center; 908 Game Farm Road (Yorkville).
Meetings are FREE and light refreshments will be served.
