Dr. John R. Bolden, Jr., infectious disease, and Dr. Raja K. Saleem, family medicine, have both served on the Morris Hospital Medical Staff for more than 10 years. The partnerships allow the physicians more time to focus on patient care, while Morris Hospital oversees the business management responsibilities associated with their practices.
A board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Saleem provides primary care for adult patients including diagnosis and treatment of illness, preventive care, routine checkups, health risk assessments, immunizations, screening tests and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. He has a specific interest in preventive care, geriatrics, heart disease, diabetes and respiratory conditions.
Dr. Saleem’s office location and phone number remain the same: 948 W. U.S. Route 6, Morris, 815-942-5474. The name of the practice has changed to Morris Healthcare Center of Morris Hospital.
Dr. Bolden has almost 20 years’ experience as an infectious disease physician. He specializes in conditions caused by pathogenic agents, such as bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites, which may or may not be contagious. He has specific interest in antibiotic resistance, skin and soft tissue infections, HIV infections, C. Diff and MRSA.
Dr. Bolden’s office address and phone number remain the same, 151 W. High Street, Morris, 815-513-3074, but the practice name has changed to Morris Healthcare Center of Morris Hospital.
