Oswego Community Unit School District 308 issued the following announcement on July 17.
Oswego Community Unit School District 308 Board of Education has approved a one year contract for Courtney L. DiFiore to fill the role of Assistant Principal of Plank Junior High School for the 2018/19 school year.
DiFiore started her teaching experience in 2009 as a sixth grade language arts, strategic language arts, strategic writing, and reading dynamics teacher. In 2013, DiFiore completed an administrative internship at Bednarcik Junior High School where she assisted on a variety of tasks in the day-to-day operation of the building. This past school year (17-18), DiFiore was a second grade classroom teacher at Lakewood Creek Elementary School.
“Ms. DiFiore is an excellent communicator and will work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents to make the best decisions for the Plank community,” said Shannon Lueders, director of junior high education.
DiFiore has a B.S. Elementary Education, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois and a Masters in Leadership and Administration from North Central College, Naperville, Illinois. She holds certifications and endorsements in the following areas: Middle School, Spanish, Reading, Language Arts, General Administrative, and Special Education.
