Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.
The Cross Lutheran 9th Annual School Walk-A-Thon will take place on Friday, October 5. This event will be the only PTL sponsored fundraiser for the 2018-2019 school year. This year’s theme is: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.“ Proverbs 3:5
All funds raised from this event will be used to enhance and enrich the classrooms. The goal for this year’s event is to raise $19,000. Students will be collecting pledges from family and friends to try to accomplish this goal. Please considering sponsoring a Cross student!
