City of Yorkville issued the following announcement on Sept. 29.
Grab the family and enjoy the beautiful fall weather at this year’s Yorktober Fest on Saturday, October 13 at Riverfront Park (131 E Hydraulic Ave, Yorkville) hosted by the United City of Yorkville and Yorkville Kiwanis Club! From Noon-5pm, several free family activities will be available including the Haystack Hunt, Pumpkin Decorating, Hayrides, and Bounce Houses!
Also, don’t forget to join us that evening at Town Square Park (301 N Bridge, Yorkville) for the Annual Halloween Egg Hunt starting at 7pm! Wear a costume, bring your flashlight and a container, and hunt in the darkness for candy-filled eggs! We can’t wait for your family to join us for all of these free events that are sure to be a spooktacular time!
