City of Plano issued the following announcement on Oct. 18.
UPDATE:
Everyone that was evacuated may return home at this time.
There is a gas main break at Prairie and Lew Street. Lew St from Church to Prairie is closed at this time. Please use alternate routes so Nicor and Plano Public Works can rectify the situation as soon as possible.
