Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 1.
Yorkville’s Chapel on the Green announces our 8th annual Veteran’s Day commemorative tribute program.
• Hear veterans discuss their service to our country.
• View military artifacts/memorabilia displays.
Presenters this year are: George Wright (Navy, 1943-1946), Jim Davis (Air Force, 1951-1955), Harv Knell (Air Force, 1957-1960), Tom Banning (Air Force, 1964-1968), Norm Meier (Army, 1967-1969), and Kevin Childs (Army, 1981-1985).
