The Regional Leadership Day will offer current leadership class members and alumni from North Texas programs, an opportunity to learn about the issues that currently affect each of their communities. Furthermore, members will have numerous opportunities to interact, share ideas and discuss opportunities for collaboration.

In planning the topics for the session, planners realized how critical the issues of workforce development, mobility/transportation, and civility are to our communities.

“North Texas Regional leadership Day is a tremendous example of the strength of collaboration” said Laurie Garber, Chair, NTRLD Steering Committee. “As a committee, we are charged with creating a day that challenges attendees to think about the unique role they individually play in their community, expand their reach through partnerships, idea sharing, and access. This year attendees will see topics such as economic development, transportation, place making, and leadership explored.”

Participating programs include: Leadership Fort Worth, Leadership Irving-Las Colinas, Leadership McKinney, Leadership Metrocrest (Addison, Carrollton and Farmers Branch), Leadership Plano, Leadership Richardson, and Leadership Sherman.

Sponsors of the program include: Atmos Energy, MetroPCS and North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA). Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU) and Dallas Baptist University (DBU).

The public is invited to attend the event. Tickets for the full day are $125; and tickets for lunch only are $50. Table reservations are available for a full-day or lunch. Tickets are available for advance purchase online and at the door on the day of the event.
