OSWEGOLAND PARK DISTRICT: Jump Into Spring

Summer

Oswegoland Park District issued the following announcement on March 19.

Around this time of year, you may find yourself with a case of cabin fever. We’ve found that the best way to curb your symptoms is to plan for the sunny days ahead!

If you’re looking to breathe in some fresh air while burning a sweat, we have something in mind for you. On Saturday, April 13, take part in our Saw Wee Kee Spring Trail Run. The single path track will take you through a blooming forest with a view that will keep you on your toes. Runners and walkers can begin anytime between 4:00-5:00pm. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-register by March 31 to receive our special rate of $45.

Winrock and Civic Center are kick-starting the warming months with their pool pass sale! From April 1 to April 15, take part in our early-bird sale and save up to 25% on passes for you and your family. The best part? You can visit both locations throughout the whole season! See what each of our swimming pools have to offer here.

During the summer, take a crack at baseball! Kids, between the ages of 4 and 7, can learn the basics of the game, such as batting, throwing, and fielding techniques, while also building teamwork skills. Pre-register by April 2 to receive our special rate of $85 for residents and $100 for non-residents.
