City of Plano issued the following announcement on July 21.
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is hosting a fundraiser to assist with the purchase of our next K9 to serve the great citizens of Kendall County! Featured during the event will be K9 demonstrations by the Kendall County Sheriff's K9 Unit, Wind City IGP Shutzhund Club, and other service/working dogs. 5 B's BBQ will be on hand serving some delicious BBQ with proceeds benefiting the K9 Unit. Purchase your tickets for food on Eventbrite following the link below. Food service from 11am-1pm.
Admission to the actual event is free, but donations are appreciated! On site there will be many local vendors that support our program, face painting for the kids, and the chance to have a water balloon fight with the Deputies of Kendall County! We will be holding a 50/50 raffle during the event and will have many other fun activities for the entire family! Updates will be posted as we get them. So come out and see some great K9 action and meet the dogs behind the badge!
