Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 1.
Parul Bhatt, MD, board-certified pediatrician with Rush Copley Medical Group, will be discussing tips on how to help your children develop a lifetime of healthy habits for their physical, academic and emotional well-being. Topics will include the importance of immunizations in preventing serious diseases and severe illnesses, how to manage media and set reasonable screen time habits and personal safety tips every child should know. Children ages 5 to 12 are invited to attend an activity during the program. Program attendees will be entered to win a three-month family membership to Rush Copley Healthplex.
