City of Yorkville issued the following announcement on Nov. 15.
Start the day at Circle Center Grade School Winter Wonderland Festival from 11:00 am-3:00 pm. The school will be bursting with holiday cheer. There will be carnival games, a bake sale, and free visits from Santa Claus! Then join us at the Holiday Celebration at Riverfront Park (131 E Hydraulic Ave) for a holiday parade starting at 5:30 pm, the tree lighting ceremony immediately after the parade, and then everyone’s favorite, the FIREWORKS SHOW!
