Kendall County Forest Preserve Committee of the Whole met Sept. 10.

I. Call to Order
President Gilmour called the Committee of the Whole meeting to order at 4:30 pm in the Kendall County Board Room.
II. Roll Call
Commissioners Cesich, Gilmour, Gryder, Hendrix, Kellogg, Prochaska, and Vickers all were present.
III. Approval of Agenda
Commissioner Gryder made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Seconded by Commissioner Prochaska. All, aye. Opposed, none.
IV. Public Comments
There were no citizens in attendance that offered public comments.
V. Executive Director's Report
Director Guritz provided an executive director’s report. Updates on the Hoover crossing were given. Updates on Subat Forest Preserve were given. The Hoover crossing agreement has been finalized. Kendall Excavating finished work on the bluffs at Hoover.
VI. MOTION: Forward Claims to Commission for an Amount Not-to-Exceed $25,061.52
Director Guritz presented claims not-to-exceed $25,061.52.
Commissioner Flowers made a motion to forward claims to Commission for an amount notto-exceed $25,061.52. Seconded by Commissioner Hendrix. Aye, all. Opposed, none.
VII. Review of Financial Statements and Cost Center Reports for the Period Ending August 31, 2019
Director Guritz presented a review of the financial statements and cost center reports for the period ending August 31, 2019.

VIII. The Conservation Foundation – Presentation of Support Grants and Suburban Illinois Regional Conservation Survey Message Results
Director Guritz presented the Illinois Department of Natural Resources – State Pheasant Fund Advisory Committee Grant for support of cropland conversion efforts at Fox River Bluffs Forest Preserve. A match of funds of already scheduled expenses is recommended.
IX. FY 19-20 KCFPD Operating and Capital Fund Preliminary Budget Reviews
Director Guritz presented a review of a final draft of the Tri-Party crossing agreement (Yorkville – Kendall County Forest Preserve.
Commissioner Hendrix made a motion to forward the review of a final draft of the Tri-Party Crossing Agreement for Hoover Road at Hoover Forest Preserve to Commissions. Seconded by Commissioner Flowers. Aye, all. Opposed, none.
