Q2 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Kendall County?

There were 12 offenders released on parole during the second quarter of 2019 that live in Kendall County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Kendall County Times.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Kendall County were men. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2019, and the oldest was a 59-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Michael Waters. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2015 when he was 41 years old. He is now 46.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
