Batinick Hosting Blood Drive on June 16th
Plainfield—State Representative Mark Batinick (R-Plainfield) will be hosting a blood drive in partnership with Troy Township and Versiti Blood Center of Illinois. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 16th at Troy Township Community Center in Shorewood, 25448 W. Seil Road, from 3:00-7:00pm.

Rep. Batinick is eager to host this event, which is his second blood drive in the last two months, to continue to help boost the blood supply in Illinois. “Our state is experiencing a severe blood shortage, and this pandemic isn’t helping matters,” said Batinick. “This event can help change that. Together, we can do our best to mitigate this shortage and in turn, help save lives.”
Spots are limited for blood donation, so interested residents should make an appointment as soon as possible.
