Yorkville Area Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 12.
Chill out at Raging Waves Waterpark with a Drive-In Movie featuring Frozen II on Thursday, June 25! For $5 per vehicle, families will enjoy viewing this family favorite on a 30-foot inflatable screen with a large popcorn provided by Raging Waves from the comfort of their vehicles. The movie will start at dusk (approximately 8:45pm) with the parking lot opening for parking at 7:30pm. Please note, car placement for parking will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Register now as space is limited to 100 vehicles. Secure your spot by registering HERE. Please note, only register the number of vehicles attending. Registration is available for Oswego and Yorkville Residents only June 10-June 19 and will open to anyone interested starting June 20 as space allows. Please note the movie guidelines listed below.
MOVIE GUIDELINES
Please note movie participants must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. All families must remain in their vehicles throughout the event.
2. Viewing the movie from the open bed of a pickup truck/van or on top of vehicle is not permitted.
3. Families are urged to utilize bathroom facilities before attending the event; however, portalets will be available for emergency cases.
4. Families attending the event must abide by all social distancing guidelines.
This event is hosted by the United City Of Yorkville and the Village of Oswego in conjunction with Raging Waves Waterpark.
