Analysis: Yorkville pays $3.87 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Yorkville Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 79.5 percent of the $1,215,632 the Yorkville Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.87 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kendall County Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Yorkville contributed $966,211 to the fund, which saw a $156,161 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $249,421, or 20.5 percent, in 2018.
