Analysis: Plano pays $2.44 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Plano Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 71 percent of the $458,314 the Plano Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $2.44 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kendall County Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Plano contributed $325,255 to the fund, which saw a $48,127 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $133,059, or 29 percent, in 2018.
