Analysis: Oswego pays $3.27 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Oswego Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 76.3 percent of the $1,876,028 the Oswego Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.27 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kendall County Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Oswego contributed $1,430,544 to the fund, which saw a $113,317 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $437,086, or 23.3 percent, in 2018. Another $8,398 came from other unspecified sources.
