Analysis: Yorkville pays $4.66 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Bristol-Kendall Firefighter's Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 82.4 percent of the $71,356 the Bristol-Kendall Firefighter's Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.66 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kendall County Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Yorkville contributed $58,764 to the fund, which saw a $5,929 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $12,592, or 17.6 percent, in 2018.
