The Committee of the Whole of the Board of Education of Plano Community Unit School District No. 88 met at 6:00 p.m. at the Plano High School Innovation Center. 

I CALL TO ORDER 

Member Campbell called the Committee of the Whole meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. Present for roll call were Campbell, Jernigan, Klatt, Martinez, Waldrop and Ward. Member Velazquez was absent. Others present were Superintendent Baker and Seeman. Present via the Zoom link were administrators Mateyka, Heller, Alvarez, Thurwanger, Lee, Operations Director Bryan Appel, and Financial Advisor Jay Cunneen. President Campbell appointed Superintendent Baker Secretary Pro-Tem. 

II VISITOR COMMENTS 

There were no visitor comments. 

III FINANCE COMMITTEE REPORT 

A. Audit Review 

Don Shaw from Lauterbach and Amen, LLP, was present and reviewed the audit report and management letter for District 88 and PASEC. There were no significant findings. 

B. Development Discussion 

Attorney Dan Kramer presented the historical perspective of the British Overseas property dispute. 

C. Financial Planning 

There was no discussion on this topic. 

D. In-Person Learning Expansion Discussion 

Dr. Thurwanger presented the next steps in looking at the potential for four-day per week in-person learning for students in grades K-6. 

IV FUTURE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE AGENDA ITEMS 

None were mentioned.

The Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at 8:13 p.m.
