Yorkville Area Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on Feb. 12.
Attached is a press release explaining how Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers has seen success since mid-December in treating select COVID-positive patients with monoclonal antibody infusion therapy.
As of Feb. 11, Morris Hospital has treated 55 outpatients diagnosed with mild-to-moderate COVID-19 infection, and only two of those patients ended up requiring hospitalization. All patients who received this treatment met specific criteria in which they were determined to be at higher risk for severe illness or hospitalization.
