First United Methodist Church Plano issued the following announcement on Aug. 3
ALR Participates in Sethtastic Ride
Members from American Legion Riders Post #181 of Sandwich joined Sycamore ALR and rode in the Sethtastic Ride (a ride to raise awareness about suicide and suicide prevention). The ride was coordinated with Fox River H-D, Chris Hansen with DuKane ABATE, and his Sethtastic committee. The ride began at Fox River H-D and was a non-stop 70-mile police escorted ride that ended at Schmidt's Towne Tap in Elburn.
Participating Sandwich ALR Riders were Bob and Cherie Mauer, Henry Herbst, Jon Dewitz, Sam and Sharyl Mataya, friend Ralph Torres, Cliff and Linda Oleson.
