Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 26
When the Yorkville School District hires new teachers each year, many of them are new not only to the school district but to our community as well. To welcome and introduce them to area businesses and services, the Yorkville Chamber invited the newly-hired teachers to its 12th Annual New Teacher Breakfast, held August 18th at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club.
During the event teachers received personal recognition and swag bags filled with gifts and promotional items from more than 38 supporting businesses. Drawings were also held for teachers to win gift baskets and “classroom cash” prizes.
