Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 22

The Yorkville Chamber’s 18th annual golf outing at Blackberry Oaks Golf Course was a sell-out success, with the added bonus of beautiful and clear summer weather.

Golfers enjoyed “hassle free” golfing, with mulligans, yardsticks, on-course games, lunch, dinner, drink coupons, and 19th hole refreshments all inclusive.

Many area businesses & organizations came together to sponsor and create a fun-filled day for the golfers.

• Golf Cart Sponsor Mars Wrigley gifted each golf cart with a bagfuls of candy.
• On-course beverages were complimentary, thanks to sponsor FNBC Bank & Trust.
• “Birdie Box” lunches with wraps, chips, and cookies were sponsored by FeganScott LLC
• The Bloody Mary Bar, sponsored by Earthmover Credit Union, welcomed golfers before they headed out on the course.
• On-course volunteers were shuttled by Outing Ubers: Karylin Clevenger of Veterans Assistance Commission of Kendall County, Rosemarie Bakka Team – Keller Williams Realty Infinity, and members of Yorkville Leads over Lunch.
• Golfers were able to use mulligans and yardsticks to improve their scores, thanks to sponsors Konen Insurance and Yorkville Ace Hardware.
• No winners unfortunately, but the option to win $10,000 for a hole-in-one was sponsored by Brian Feltes Insurance-Jennifer Jones Sinnott.
• FNBO sponsored the Money Bags Hole, with five cash prize winners.

Hole sponsors treated golfers to free raffles, games, contests, and refreshments.
