City of Sandwich City Council Finance Committee met April 18.

Chairwoman Johnson called the meeting to order at: 6:32 PM
Roll call was taken:
Present: Alderwoman Cara Killey, Alderman Fred Kreinbrink & Alderwoman Rebecca Johnson
Also present: City Clerk Denise li
Review of Semi-Monthly Bills: Questions raised: Payment to Meade for an accident at Duvick and RT 34, Alderman Kreinbrink wanted to know if City was seeking restitution, Police report to be reviewed. Payment to EEI for the monthly retainer of $2,300.00. Alderman Kreinbrink was curious to know if this is contracted as we pay per project. Discussion in regards to Frontier and which phone lines we might be able to drop.
Old Business: Opera House agreement to be updated. Cleaning services by Jennifer Boring and her raising her cost.
New Business: . None
Audience Comments: Inquiry about Donations or grants available to help with cost of replacing floors I carpets of the Opera House & City Hall. Would like to continue conversation with Attorney and Mayor.
Finance Meeting Motion to send monthly bills to the city council for payment: Motion made by Alderman Kreinbrink and seconded by Alderwoman Killey. Motion passed.
Adiournment: There being no further business to come before the Committee, motion made by Alderwoman Killey, and seconded by Alderman Kreinbrink to adjourn at 6:46 PM. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
