The regular meeting of the Plano City Council was called to order by Mayor Michael Rennels in the Council Room at City Hall. The Mayor led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Roll Call:

MINUTES:
A motion was made by Alderman Eaton, seconded by Alderman Nadeau, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting on June 27, 2022. A unanimous “Aye” voice vote was heard. The motion passed.
AGENDA:
A motion was made by Alderman Eaton, seconded by Alderman Nadeau, to approve the agenda for the regular meeting of July 11, 2022. A unanimous “Aye” voice vote was heard. The motion passed.
WARRANTS:
A motion was made by Alderman Swoboda, seconded by Alderman Eaton, to accept the report of the Finance Committee and that orders are drawn on the Treasury to pay per warrant list dated June 29, 2022 in the amount of $115,892.75.

The Mayor thanked all for the help and participation in the various new events; Fireworks, parade, touch a truck, mid-week music. The second Mid-week music will be held on July 13, 2022 from 6 – 8 PM. Music will be by Redhorse.

Resolution #R2022-18 HR Green agreement for filter troubleshooting
A motion was made by Alderman DeBolt, seconded by Alderman Eaton, to approve a resolution approving and authorizing the execution of an agreement by and between the City of Plano and HR Green, Inc. for assistant with filter troubleshooting with the Tonka filters at the Lakewood Water Treatment Plant for an amount not to exceed $ 25,992.00.

The auditors are in house doing fieldwork.

Alderman Swoboda called the next meeting for July 25, 2022 at 5:15 pm. Ron Vander Band updated the investment policy, the policy will be reviewed and brought to the Council for approval at a later date. PARKS: Alderman Johns
Alderman Johns commented that the disc golf ribbon cutting was a good event. Pictures of parks and other city properties have been updated on the website. 2 new signs have been installed at Klatt Park, 1 is for no swimming and the other one is for DNR bass fishing information.
PERSONNEL & INSURANCE: Alderman Williams
Alderman Williams called a meeting for July 28, 2022 at 5:30 PM to discuss evaluations and a company to look at ranges.
SPECIAL EVENTS: Alderman Nadeau
Alderman Nadeau called a meeting for July 14, 2022 at 6:00 PM to discuss a new grant option.
STREETS & UTILITIES: Alderman Eaton
Alderman Eaton canceled his July 13, 2022 meeting and rescheduled it for July 20, 2022 at 6:00 PM.
