IV. Administration of Juvenile Justice Continuum for Delinquency Prevention- 705 ILCS 405/5-201

a) Juvenile Justice Council 705 ILCS 405/6-12- What are we charged to do?

b) What is involved in creating a Juvenile Justice Plan?

• Interagency Assessment of the local Juvenile Justice System

• Collection of data used to analyze risk, needs and characteristics of justice involved youth in our communities

• Assess our available resources and responses to

• Develop and strengthen policy to prevent or mitigate delinquency

• Produce positive outcomes and enhance public safety

• Make recommendations to the county boards to more effectively utilize existing community resources.
