The JJC baseball team improved to 5-1 on the season behind strong relief pitching and three home runs to come away with and 8-7 road victory over Triton College on Wednesday afternoon.

Justin Waddell pitched 4 ⅓ relief innings, striking out eight and giving up just two hits and two runs to get the win. Jack Otis recorded his second save of the season.

Offensively, the Wolves hit three home runs as Luis Delgado hit a three-run bomb, as Jake Will and Colin Bruce hit solo shots. Brendan Sturm had two hits with two RBI.

The Wolves will host Moraine Valley on Tuesday at home.
