The Board of Education of Community Unit School District 308, Kendall, Kane and Will Counties, Illinois, met in a special session in the Community Room at Oswego East High School.
Note for file: All roll call votes are shown in alphabetical order in these minutes; however, during the Board Meeting votes are called out in accordance with Board Policy 2:220
1. Call to Order – Public Session (5:00 pm)
The meeting was called to order at 5:01 p.m. by President LaTonya Simelton
1.1 Roll Call:
Upon Roll Call the following members answered present:
Dominick Cirone, Lauri Doyle, Eugene Gatewood, Jennifer Johnson (by phone), Jared Ploger, LaTonya Simelton, Alison Swanson

2. Information and Discussion
2.1 Superintendent Search Firm Presentations

The Search Firms were asked beforehand to address a number of topics that the Board wanted to see in each presentation. Each Board member also received questions to ask in case they were not already answered in the presentation.
There was some time for discussion after each presentation and/or to fill out the rubric that they received. The Search Firms were told that a decision would be made at the February 6 meeting.

Final Resolution: Motion Carried 7-0

The Board of Education entered closed session at 7:11 p.m.

A motion was made by Ms. Jennifer Johnson, second by Mr. Eugene Gatewood, to return to Open Session.
Final Resolution: Motion Carried 7-0

The Board of Education returned to open session at 8:03 p.m.
