Kendall County voter turnout in Illinois’ April 4 Consolidated Election was 13,277, or about 15% of 86,713 registered voters.
That's according to the Kendall County Clerk's unofficial results.
Countywide, between 2011 and 2023, the number of ballots cast increased by 27%. Over the same time period, the number of registered voters increased by 2,972.
Kendall County voters cast 34% more ballots -- an increase of 3,338 -- in 2023 than in the last Consolidated Election, on April 6, 2021.
Typically, Consolidated Elections include contests for elected office in cities and villages, parks, library and fire protection districts and school boards.
