The regular meeting of the Plano City Council was called to order on Monday, February 27, 2023 by Mayor Michael Rennels in the Council Room at City Hall. The Mayor led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Roll Call:

MINUTES:
A motion was made by Alderman Eaton, seconded by Alderman Williams, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting on February 13, 2023. A unanimous "Aye" voice vote was heard. The motion passed. AGENDA:
A motion was made by Alderman Eaton, seconded by Alderman Williams, to approve the agenda for the regular meeting of February 27, 2023. A unanimous "Aye" voice vote was heard. The motion passed.
WARRANTS:
A motion was made by Alderman Swoboda, seconded by Alderman Fawver, to accept the report of the Finance Committee and that orders are drawn on the Treasury to pay per warrant list dated February 27, 2023 in the amount of $ 80,018.24.

Resolution #R2023-4 Award low bid to Whittaker Construction & Excavating Inc.
A motion was made by Alderman Williams, seconded by Alderman Eaton, to approve a resolution approving and authorizing the execution of an agreement by and between the City of Plano and Whittaker Construction & Excavation, Inc. for the Selector Tank Mixer Project in an amount not to exceed $ 795,175.00.

A motion was made by Alderman Nadeau, seconded by Alderman Eaton, to approve (2) SpacePak HVAC systems for the Depot in an amount not to exceed $ 29,450.00 by Artlip and Sons, Inc.

Alderman Mulliner called a meeting for March 9, 2023 at 6:00 PM to discuss the City Administrator, PD Budget and Food Trucks.

Jeff Sobotka called a meeting for March 16, 2023 at 6:00 PM to discuss the budget.

Alderman Swoboda called a new meeting for March 13, 2023 at 5:15 pm.
PARKS: Alderman Johns
Alderman Johns gave an update on the Parks; the Dog Park is still closed due to the ground conditions. He is working on putting wood chips by the dog agility equipment. The mowing contract for 2023 will be discussed and brought to a vote at a later date. There probably will not be an Ice Fishing event but they are working on a Spring fishing event. The Parks committee is meeting on February 28, 2023 at 5:45 PM.
