Q1 2022 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Kendall County?

There were 12 offenders living in Kendall County released on parole during the first quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Kendall County Times.

The data shows 11 men and one woman were released in Kendall County. Of the parolees, one is a veteran, and the median age is 37. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2021, and the oldest was a 59-year-old man sentenced for a sex crime in 2021.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Alberto Lucio Jr.. He was convicted of homicide in 2008 when he was 32 years old. He is now 46.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
